Comments I was wondering, some artists will sometimes influence their work by injecting a filliment of selfportrait; is that the case in your work? The faces have hints of similarity across the canvas.
 My paintings are often self portraits in the sense that they are usually sad girls. But in terms of the faces, I try to draw them in a way that fits an expression (depression, disillusionment, apathy, confusion), more than make them resemble anyone in particular. The cheeks, foreheads, and lips often end up resembling me a lot, but the eyes and nose are more like doll features, I think.
